VIRGO FULL MOON AND LUNAR ECLIPSE

Dissolving material structure. Allowing for organic reconfiguration.

2025 FULL MOONS // ECLIPSE SEASON — March 14th-29th, 2025

Greetings friends,

Here we are, in yet another eclipse season. This is an interesting one, as it is the first that is hosting an eclipse on the Pisces-Virgo axis with the north and south nodes present in those signs (the last eclipse season we had included a Pisces eclipse, but the nodes were still in Aries and Libra), and it is also the eclipse cycle that concludes the eclipses on the Aries-Libra axis. Eclipses host fated events, which is why the general rule of thumb is to refrain from doing any practices or rituals, although you can do one if you feel deeply inspired to and have a very clear intention. Me personally, though, I just like to ride through these periods, observing all of the feelings that are coming up and identifying what teachings any external turbulence may be ushering me through. These periods are like spiritual wormholes—spaces in which we are moving through spiritual teachings at an accelerated pace, which is where eclipses usually become associated with chaos and panic. There is no need to be alarmed. Eclipses are powerful “portals” of sorts, which usher us through necessary developmental processes that we have perhaps not been aware were as important for our growth as they reveal themselves to be.

Eclipses are “checkpoints” in the nodal cycle that the north and south nodes are moving through, which is where we can usually assess how well or poorly we are integrating the north node’s teachings and dissolving our attachment to the south node’s themes, which we can observe through our reactions and responses to the external matters that occur in these spaces. There is no need to criticize ourselves for what we discover, but we will likely find ourselves departing these seasons with a bit of “homework” for us to focus on in the six months between each eclipse season.

This specific eclipse season is posing us with a multitude of opportunities through different external matters to examine how we interact with power and control and how we perhaps try to strengthen our relationship with one by utilizing the other. We are being made aware of how we may cling to control to feel more in power, but how we create a more sustainable relationship with power when we let go of control. This eclipse season intends to illuminate what we are holding onto without even realizing it and encourages us to reclaim our power by surrendering to the happenings of the external world and focusing more on maintaining our authority over our inner world, observing our emotional responses, and being conscious of our perception.

Below, as always, you’ll find the analysis of this full moon and lunar eclipse and the major invitations and questions it is posing to us, but I also want to make you aware of this offering I created that goes very deeply into this nodal cycle and how you can work with it. It also includes a bit of conversation about the Venus and Mercury retrogrades we’re currently in and how they’re contributing to our development process. This PDF is a 30-page analysis of this nodal cycle; I can’t emphasize enough how integral it can be for our development process through the north node’s passage through Pisces. The information in this offering is applicable to all of the eclipses we’ll experience on the Pisces-Virgo axis over the next eighteen months or so; I hope you enjoy it!

I have it discounted significantly through the weekend as a thank you for your patience with this installment going out, and I’m also gifting it to those who are members of the Moon Circle. It will be discounted through Sunday, 3/23!

HERE’S THE BIG PICTURE

This full moon and lunar eclipse in Virgo is the first of a two-part series, as all eclipses are. Each eclipse season has its own unique conversation, depending on the other planetary activations happening, the position of the eclipses’ planetary rulers, and additional influences. As I stated above, this eclipse season is primarily talking about power and control, but it’s also talking about appearances. Aries (which will be where the second eclipse takes place) is the natural governor of the first house—our appearance, personality, and identity; the self—but Virgo is the self that we intentionally curate and develop through consistent effort. Aries is the body you are given, but Virgo is the body you create.

While this may relate to physical appearance for some, perhaps marking the beginning of a new relationship with one’s body or a new type of fitness and wellness journey, this may apply more to the appearances that we project into our interpersonal interactions and social spaces—the personas that we want others to associate with us. There are a couple of things that this Virgo lunar eclipse is speaking to regarding the appearance—the front—we try to maintain. The first addresses skill, practice, and rules, and the second examines security and personal mastery.

Virgo is the natural ruler of the sixth house, which is where we are most devoted to rules and reliable systems, implement daily practices, and hone skills. This is the house in which we are most perfectionistic, as it is the house of competitive matters and practice. This eclipse essentially points out that while we may try to be perfect in many matters, there will be inevitable moments of failure, misjudgment, and mistakes that we cannot predict even if we'd like to. We can be the most skilled player on the field and slip on an unsuspecting patch of grass. We can study for the exam and be stumped by a trick question. We can plan a garden wedding in July, and it still might rain. We can do all the “right” things, and things still might go wrong. Oftentimes, the things that contribute to the unfavorable outcomes we are trying to avoid are external factors that are out of our control. That is what this nodal cycle intends to help us evolve: it intends to guide us to a more enlightened place within ourselves so that we might not be as disruptively impacted by the unpredictable calamity in the external world. It intends to teach us how to not allow external circumstances to dictate the state of the internal world.

Virgo is the data analyst; its job is to make sense of the information that has already been gathered and find a conclusion from it. Because Virgo is constantly assessing data and reaching conclusions from it, this can lead it to operate through assumption if this quality is overdeveloped, which is what creates Virgo’s tendency toward judgment and criticism as well as their hardheadedness around being “right.” The south node in Virgo and this full moon both highlight how our tendency toward being so attached to the facts and the certainty we feel about being “right” may be discoloring what is actually good for us, especially if we cannot justify a shift through logical and practical deduction. With Virgo also clinging to preparation so tightly (sometimes obsessively, especially in their shadow expression), this moon is likely pointing out how we have contorted ourselves to maintain our control over external matters; there may be external situations that we have over-exerted ourselves in that we are not realizing we’ve become exhausted by because the over-involvement has become so routine to us.

This moon is a perfect example of “just because you can doesn’t mean you should,” specifically referring to our tendency toward holding onto control so much that we end up fabricating the entire scenario. This may manifest in our relationships, health habits, daily lives, or work routines; we’re being asked to take a step back and assess if we even like what the situation is anymore. If you pulled back all of your energy, effort, or influence, would the matter you’ve been investing in be able to self-stabilize? If the answer is no, then you may be urged to examine how you have created an inorganic creature, a thing that is only “real” because you are keeping it alive.

Both Virgo and Aries are competitive signs, and considering the Venus retrograde we are currently in, this is a time for us to ask ourselves what we’re doing all of this for. “All of this” refers to all the effort you are investing into whatever comes to mind while reading this. What are you trying to prove? That you are competent? Capable? ”Good” enough? Who are you trying to impress? How has your sweetness to others become poison to you? If you were to drop everything right now, what would you feel? If there was no disappointment, hurt feelings, or repercussions, what would you do?

I ask all of these questions because Virgo can become very attached to the external reputation, which, when we are in this energy, can become very exhaustive to maintain, as we become so engrossed in maintaining it. This eclipse asks us to really identify what or who we are living for. It is asking us to look at the rule books we’re following and identify who wrote them and why they must be abided by. With Uranus forming some favorable connections to the placements in Pisces and the south node (and moon) in Virgo, we’re being reminded that it’s okay to say “fuck the rules” sometimes and divert from our predictable ways. And that leads me to briefly discuss the second focus of this lunar eclipse: personal mastery and security.

All of the earth signs crave security; they are the archetypes that help us create security in the material world, as our humanness requires material and physical security for survival. Virgo symbolizes the consistency that is required to build lasting security; however, when overdeveloped, it can lock us into a proverbial prison of repetition and order, leaving us little room to innovate and integrate fluidity. Virgo, in a way, is how we master ourselves, but it can also symbolize how the external world and physical plane can become our master and how we enslave ourselves to it if we do not remain connected to our personal authority and autonomy. This moon illuminates not only our attachment to control in the external world but also the rigid expectations that we can often hold ourselves to in an attempt to meet the demands of the material lives we construct. We have to hit our macros or make it to the gym X amount of times a week, we have to clean the house and do our laundry, and we have to get to all of our appointments on time. While we may not realize it sometimes, this strict expectation can eventually condition us to value ourselves when we do not fulfill the “requirements” of the day.

This moon illuminates how we are perhaps trying to achieve our goals and create success in our lives by doing too much or perhaps how we are fixating on the wrong details of a situation, which is contributing to sustained pain or dissatisfaction. It is pointing out how many of us have perhaps become locked into a routine of survival and have forgotten what it means to live.

For many of us, there are dreams that are being illuminated and awakened that we intend to make progress toward in a more serious and real way than we have likely attempted in the past, but this moon reminds us that we cannot guilt ourselves into action or bully ourselves into change—it’s unproductive. This full moon points out that we have become over-involved in the troubles of the external world, and we are perhaps so fixated on finding an outcome that we’re preventing ourselves from doing so. We are reminded that doing more does not always equate to productivity and the speed of progress. Perhaps the solution to any of the dilemmas you’re currently facing is not to analyze and re-analyze the situation; maybe the solution is to pull back your attention, energy, and resources and re-evaluate whether the matter is even something that you still want.

As eclipses go, we are being asked to trust the unfolding of events at this time, as fated matters are coming to the light for us to observe and experience. This is a time for us to acknowledge that our dissatisfaction with external matters is pointing us back to disorder or imbalance within ourselves and that before we find a solution to the material experience, we first must address the internal discourse. This energy is not about who is “right” and who is “wrong,” nor is it about finding the “correct” answer; it is about assessing what is right for you and identifying what will contribute to your life in the most favorable and aligned way.

If you are navigating interpersonal conflicts or differences of opinions with others at this time, I encourage you to take a neutral approach, acknowledging that everyone is entitled to their personal truth and that, even in factual matters where there is a more tangible answer, the “truth” is whatever you believe is true, regardless of its validity in the 3D world. This is not a time to point the finger or criticize the external realm. This is a time to see beyond the physical expression and to acknowledge the energies that the material things represent; it’s a time to recognize that the physical manifestations that we interact with on a daily basis are merely vessels for the energy that we are spiritually interfacing with. Soften your gaze and read between the lines.
As always, I’m sending you love and many blessings. Happy eclipse season. xx

CLASSES + READINGS!

I am hosting a couple of classes in the coming weeks! I’ve taken some time to meditate on the topics of both of these gatherings and have set the intention that those who are meant to attend will sense a clear “yes” or “no” when considering their attendance. I can feel the vibration of both of these classes—the vibrations are very distinct and feel so expansive already. If your spirit is calling you to one or both, I look forward to you being there. :’)

Here’s what we’ll be discussing:

The first will be for Lilith’s entry into Scorpio; I will be sharing a rich examination of what Lilith means and how it will operate through Scorpio, as well as an intricate discussion of what it means for each of the signs and how it is collaborating with the other long-term energies. This class will not be for everyone, as it will address topics of sexual abuse, disordered eating, traumatic cycles, and other sensitive topics. This transit will be extremely influential for those who are working through dissolving sexual shame, healing from traumatic experiences, and accessing the power of their dark feminine divinity. If you find yourself on this journey, I highly recommend you grab a seat; this class is just as much of an educational space as it is a spiritual activation.

This class will be tomorrow, Friday, March 21st, at 6:00 pm PST // 9:00 pm EST. Seats are limited, but I’d love to see you there! If you’re unable to make it, the recording will be available for purchase the following day. :)

My second class—Life Hack—will discuss reality construction, energy mechanics, and manifestation from a perspective that is quite different from popularized conversations. This class will organically reference both short- and long-term astrological influences but will dive into how the energetic body is your greatest asset for finding success in manifestation practice. This class isn’t a “quick fix” for changing one’s life, as energetic reconfiguration is a process. And it also won’t be a class that everyone is ready for; this class is for those who are ready to get real about their dreams and are ready to do both the energy and physical work to help them materialize. However, if you feel in alignment with that responsibility, this class will hold lots and lots of valuable wisdom to help you redesign your reality and fall into deeper alignment with your soul.

This class will be on Thursday, April 17th, at 5:00 pm PST // 8:00 pm EST. Seats are limited. The recording will be available for purchase for this class as well if you are unable to attend the event itself.
